Westminster & City of London Lib Dems join People's Vote March

The Cities of London & Westminster Liberal Democrats joined activists from local Lib Dem student societies on the march for a People's Vote.

The Liberal Democrats were the first party to back a People's Vote on Brexit, and we believe there should be a public vote, either in a General Election or People's Vote, so that the people can get the final say. It was a great march with a huge turnout of people from across the UK all calling for us to stop Brexit.

Meanwhile, our candidate in Cities of London & Westminster Chuka Umunna was in Parliament voting against Boris Johnson's disastrous Brexit withdrawal agreement. Opposition and rebel MPs, including all Liberal Democrat MPs, voted for Oliver Letwin's amendment to prevent Government from forcing through his hard Brexit without proper scrutiny.

If you would like to volunteer on Chuka's campaign to stop Brexit and give the constituency of Downing Street, Parliament, and the City a Liberal Democrat Remain MP, sign up to help out on the Volunteer tab!
