The Climate Crisis as COP26 drew the world's attention three months ago. Since then the fuel crisis, the conflict in Ukraine and partygate have pulled the headlines away. Pressure seems to be growing to row back on the COP26 commitments.
The Cities of London & Westminster Liberal Democrats are pleased to host a discussion on this vital but neglected issue.
Tom Burke is co-founder and chair of European Climate change think tank E3G and former Friends of the Earth director. E3G's mission is to translate climate politics, economics and policies into action. Tom is also Chairman of the China Dialogue Trust, Climate Advisor to governments and companies in the UK and visiting Professor at both Imperial College and UCL.
Alistair Barr will be the moderator for this event. He is the vice-chair of the Cities of London & Westminster Borough local party and candidate for Marylebone ward in the May local elections.
Climate change cannot be left to change itself. Come and give it the attention it deserves.
