We support efforts to enable Westminster’s hospitality sector to reopen safely and trade viably as they adapt to meet social distancing requirements. While supporting Westminster City Council’s plan for ‘Reopening Westminster’s hospitality sector’ which will see more pavement space being used by restaurants and bars we asked our Council to make outside dining and drinking spaces no smoking. This request has been ignored.
Hospitality operators must apply for a license to increase the additional pavement space they wish to use.
