Marylebone - You Spoke, We are Taking Action

A big thank you to everyone in Marylebone who took the time to fill out our local survey. We have listened carefully and are already working hard on your top priorities.

• Concerns around e-bikes and pedestrian safety were strongly expressed by nearly all residents.

• Tackling crime and anti-social behaviour came out as the number one issue that must be tackled now.

• Residents also want a coordinated and holistic approach on rough sleeping

• Urgent action on litter including fly-tipping from short-lets.

Your Marylebone Lib Dem team Alistair BarrMartin Kersh and Helen Toeman are taking your concerns directly to Westminster Council and pushing for action and real solutions.

Lib Dem campaigner, Helen Toeman said:

"Marylebone deserves better. Safer streets, cleaner pavements, and proper support for vulnerable people are basic expectations - not luxuries. The Liberal Democrat team are standing up for residents and demanding a fairer, safer, cleaner Marylebone for all.”

The Marylebone Liberal Democrats are calling for:

• Stronger enforcement on dangerous e-bike riding with every hire bike carrying an easily identifiable number and improved docking stations that prevent pavements from being blocked

• More visible community policing in our area to reassure local people and for the Church Street Police counter in Westminster to stay open

• Coordinated support for people sleeping rough, from the Council and other services

• Urgent action on litter including fly-tipping from short-lets.

It's time to fix the basics. Westminster Council must listen.
